I last saw him live in 1985, Wembley Arena, the week before Live Aid, Brothers in Arms tour...

I was in Amsterdam in the middle of April, and saw an advert for him playing there that night, too late to do anything about it.

And then in Budapest at the start of this month, and he was playing there same night, and too late to do anything about it.

Bugger.

Saw him at Brighton on Wednesday, he's definitely on form

Telegraph Road, possibly the best version I've heard live. Sultans of Swing, great to hear it played by 2 guitars, a bass and drums, and no saxaphones or Guy Fletcher's church organ music drowning it. Speedway at Nazareth, fantastic!

Also saw Bruce Springsteen at the RAH last night and get to see MK again at the RAH next Friday, not a bad few days musically speaking
