Hey just thought i'd have a rant....
i've just been to see mark knopfler live at manchester MEN. i had floor tickets, and mark performed great.
The main problem was i missed most of it, because i couldn't see. i'm quite tall but there was a guy 3 rows in front with his head right in the middle of the stage! if i moved to either side, there were more heads,a nd i didn't want to sit up really tall (although i still dont know if i could have seen) because i think it's unfair on the people behind me.
Now i can understand sometimes you get bad luck with people infront of you, but the annoying thing was, he had binoculars so kept looking through them, and then looking at the ceiling and the stands, totally uninterested in what was going on on stage! :o
I hate people like that, and i also hate to say i probably ruined the gig with thoughts of how i was going to kill this man.
i know people can't help their height but at least be considerate, sit low enough so you can just see, and don't move your head all the time, so that people can look down the side of your head.
AHHHHHHHHH
right ok i'm done... just had to get it out of my system. but don't u guys find it annoying too?

Yep.
That and going to small clubs and pubs where people insist on carrying on conversations at high volume over the top of the music and, 'cos they are pissed, don't notice when the performer moves to the quieter part of the set.
One place a couple of idiots who were clearly regulars made a point of posiitoning themselves right in front of the tiny stage and then ignored the performer. Why they didn't move to the back or even into the back room I cannot imagine. So much for music lovers eh?
Trouble is that on many occasions the worst offenders seem to be either mates of someone connected with the performers or mates of the people running the gig or the pub.
But there you are - a sign of the times. Ignorance rules.
Yes its very
annoying..
I had front row tickets at a Destinys Child (don't laugh) concert, even though i
was right at the front, there where some
s infront of me of course and
i could not see shit, iirc i got hold of a chair and used that to stand on
Beyonce was sexy i touched her backstage and spoke to her too!
