Surrey(ish) advice please

Hola petrol peeps,

Apparently this is a bank holiday weekend and I am sans plans. I fancy a day trip somewhere nice, no more than an hour's drive from Guildford, and do not want to be sitting in traffic with 2,000 other chumps. Any ideas?

get a really good map of Surrey and stay off any road with an a or an M in front of it...

just go out and enjoy the sunshine!

Guildford to Goodwood can be a nice run, A3 to A286 on the way down and there's another one on the way up that I can't remember the number of. 274 maybe.

There's also likely to be some kind of running at the circuit, there is most weekends.
