Spent about 10 hours on a coach yesterday going to and from Cardiff so had plenty of time to observe the trafic!
I must have see well over 100 cars with kleenex on the parcelshelf! All kinds of people had it but I just dont get the point! If you need to blow your nose when driving you cant exactly reach all the way back to get a tissue!

Anyone have a good reason for this? [small] please keep it clean[/small]

Well apart from the obvious (testing the back seats)
People being sick? People who ferry lots of other people around?
Bet most of the drivers were older.
Were they mansize?

All kinds of tissue boxes, all ethnic backgrouns, all kinds of people but there were a supprising number of younger and middle aged people.

Still think the glove box it more appropriate. If someone's being sick in the front (more likely to have a passenger there) then you can't get to them!

In the event of an accident, the sudden braking causes the box of tissues to fly forward, placing them ideally within reach to mop up the blood from the head injury causd by the equally unrestraned nodding dog...

I still don't get cushions in cars. I mean, why? They just get in the way of the seatbelts, and then you have to put them on the parcel shelf (where the driver can't see), or in your footwell (and they you can't get any legroom)

Not wishing to be a pedantic git, but is velcro really going to stop it going anywhere if there's a fairly large smash?

lol around here they seem to be into the cleenex mod scene.

Gold or silver with sequins on. the more ornate the better. It seems to be a status symbol. My tisues have more gold on them thant yours etc

Don't get it myself you only blow your nose on them.

What you want is loo paper.

Not loo roll, but the foldy flat pack type.

It'll easy fit most cubby holes round the front of your car, or stick it to the dash.

Last time I saw some was in Sainsburys and got half a dozen packs to keep me going till I next spotted some.

Average age of this topic? Mid 70's

Ban the tissue thing. Ban suggesting convienient places to place those handy packs you see in supermarkets but always wondered where they'd go.

Easy solution: don't sneeze, drool, eat food in the car, pick your nose or have a crash (apparently important to have tissues then). Easy.

Ha haa!

Did you see any with cushions or a hat on the parcel shelf?

Can't put anything on the parcel shelf in my car, cos it just won't stay there.
Must be something to do with the way I corner.
