Has anyone had any luck today getting through to the DVLA for the 55 plate release? Been engaged for me all bloody day.

Noticed them promoting the new '55 plates on the DVLA site today - had a quick browse. How about SS55 SHH for £499. Ideal for a TVR I would have thought.

The plate I was after had gone by the time I actually got through. Now, considering it was a regular plate it was available for £995. But I've just found it on a plate traders website for guess how much? Go on.... guess....

Can SL55 AMG exist ? (ie is there a region that gives an SL prefix)
If so, I wonder what that will go for ?

I would imagine that there will be quite a bit of interest for SL55 AMG when it goes up for auction. I hate to think how much it will go for. Something like £50k I would imagine.
