What's the idea behind having an American style set of number plates, a stetson on and a couple of Federal flag style cushions in the car?
Federal flag is OK on the General Lee, but a fuckin Primera? :rolleyes:

A chap near me dresses in 'western' clothes, a stetson, cowboy boots, drives a peugeot 406 and regularly goes linedancing up at the local hall with his chums.
Even tips the front of the hat further back when he is up at the local boozer cutting a suitable marlboro man pose.
nowt as queer as folk I suppose.
Would look alright in arizona, but a little odd in the middle of

Bristol.If there's one thing funnier than all the baggage that unfortunately goes with the American car scene, it's those who dont even have the car.
I love American cars, but cant take in the shows or the UK scene because of all the goddammned flags, country & western, line dancing, cowboy boots and other lifestyle crap that goes with it.
Whilst I am having a rant, the funniest thing has got to be associating Rock & Roll with fifties Americana, the folks who bought these cars new would have been pillars of the establishment and would have detested and hated Rock & Roll with a vengeance.
Ever been to a Ferrari meet where they dress up as Italians and focus on pasta? or a Citroen meet where the talk is of garlic and onions, or a VW meet where they dress up in SS uniform?
I love American cars, but I cant stand UK American car culture, which they dont have in the US itself, weird!
