American Chopper!
Discussion
Used to be a fan but the format gets a bit repetative, deadline to get bike done, Paul Snr shouting all the time, arguments, lots of shouting.
Plus they repeat them so often that you never know until you tune in whether its a new bike or another repeat.
Mind you American Hotrod is even worse, talk about complete lack of understanding in his staff

I am in the US at the moment. Watching discory channel and they are forever running American Chopper, HotRod and Monster Garage. Great Stuff, but Paul Snr needs a kick in the nuts. Otherwise its great stuff to watch or have running in the background whilst working.
And yes.. its alot better than BB.

Agree with cotty...... A tad repetative these days. I think Paul jnr and Vinnie should start up on their own....See how well Snr does builing anything!
However, I still love watching it when its on EVERY night.
Still, for "Chopper" lovers out there, we've got Southern Choppers starting soon...more of the same??!!

There are quite a few of these sorts of programs on at the moment like A race car is born which I really like
Sorry for thread hijack, but my Dad and I were at Knockhill at the weekend and we met Ian Forrest, who's the guy who taught Mark Evans how to drive a race car. Yes yes, we did get our photo taken with him
Regarding American Chopper........I love it!!

It's a lot easier building these things when you've got a film crew and the lure of free advertising for the suppliers!
A car/bike/plane/chopper is (re)born shows little of the 95% of work that's done by other suppliers so that Mark Evans can simply bolt the lot together.
Kit Car Crisis is just laughable. Bloke builds a car for the RGB (Road Going Bike) series run by the 750MC. He buys a monster powered hyabusa lump to put in a relatively unproven chassis, with no race experience. He even has a sponsor ffs! Almost every supplier turns up at his house to help him. Like that would happen if you were Jo Muppet with no TV series

Ian Forrest should have done more TV work. He was a natural. He is popular in Spain as well!
