I think the wedding has been and gone and its a good lie to sell the dress as 'unused' and get their money back.

Just meade me think of something I saw yesterday.
A couple were sat in Cafe Rouge, York, yesterday afternoon looking like they were having a very earnest conversation. The lady seemed to be comforting and reassuring the guy. On the table was a bouquet of white flowers and oh yes.... the girl was dressed in a bridal gown and the guy in morning suit.
All of the other punters in the place looked like regular customers.

I missed that one - I walked passed there at say... oh no I didn't - I went to the Evil Eye at lunch time, then cut through to the market place and down the Shambles. Did I miss something good?

Well she wasn't beating him round the head with a raggy bunch of lillies if that's what you mean.
No, it was just pretty sombre looking. Like the calm before the storm.
