The medal is in the post!

Well done though - I got professionals to do ours top to bottom when we moved in. Cost me about 60k. Bugger.

DIY and me don't mix, so I have lots of admiration or those who can do it themselves.

we seem to be allergic to something in the house!

Wash everything. Definately any materials (Carpets/curtains etc). They seem to treat home furnishings with some "anti mildew" type stuff that makes my eyes water... Or is it a nasty rash?...

Did you just buy in Amersham? I'm sorting out the finances and should be looking to buy in High Wycombe or Aylesbury soonest! (So if I end up with a dive i'll be needing a builder.. )

Did a similar thing - moved into house on 10th December and i am still doing finishing things to the house.

Was very stressful at times both me and my girlfriend had to move back home with our parents planned on a few weeks more like a few months! Dont think i'll ever do it again.

Right now just got to do the garden!
