I spent £150 on new alloys, body shell, wheel nuts, body clips, LED lights kit and maintenance/display stand on my car.

Well it got a nice wax yesterday..

Anyway, certain people have done some pretty nice things to get the keys off me..

Dragged it to the scrap yard

Mums old 1978 allegro estate was very tired even though it had only done 33k miles.

Right old nag and totally pissed off with servicing it. The Allegro that is not the Mother !!

spent £1800 on a service for it..no wait, that was just the usual 6000 mile service.

other than fortune in maintenance (think £13,000 on the mini in 2 years and £7,000 on the Ginetta in 1 year, not to mention the many thousands spent on other cars owned over the last five years...) the best purchase I ever made for my mini is the beautiful set of 13X7" supalites

Took volvo 340 1.4DL to scrap yard that engine wanted came out

Fixed my mini, £500 later, its bloody rust but i love that car dearly.

Oh easily taking a TR6 fit only for crushing and completely rebuilding it so it's better than new. That car owes me big, but I it's repaying already. It knows.

Ever since I was kid I've always had a Herbie-inspired vision that my cars do actually have feelings.

So I am always nice to them. And if I'm not nice to them for some reason, then they always get an apology.
