Would some one mind enlightening me on why open plan gardens are the root of all-evil in society today?

I thought all gargens by their very nature were open plan....

Anyway, the root of all evil in todays society is clearly the bicycle....... or maybe bus lanes....

they allow dogs and cats to do whatever they want whenever they want. They are also very usful when drunk, no dividing lines and nothing to fall over, downside, they all look the same.
