Speed Cameras in France

Coming back yesterday and went flying past a couple of the big grey speed camares on a couple of the motorways... The sort that sit eye height and point towards you

does anyone know if they are anything to worry about ?? Was doing well north of a ton both times.....

No need to worry yet. Happened to me a while ago, nothing came of it.

Depends on what plates you had on the car. Most of them are working. Usually you will see a sign a couple of hundred meters before the camera.

We only saw one, halfway between Rouen and Le Mans in a village on the N138, in a terrible vandalistic outrage someone had stoned both the lens and flash through already
