Just to be pedantic, the days don't get shorter, They're all 24 hours or so long, We just have less sunlight from here on in.

The dark side of the moon will always be dark. It doesn't rotate.

The mornings are already getting darker, but the evenings will carry on getting lighter for a little while longer (I think that's the right way round).

The so-called "dark" side of the Moon will always be invisible from Earth. It does rotate, but its rotational period is the same as its orbital period about the Earth. So we always see the same side of it, but any point on the Moon's surface experiences days and nights of two weeks each.

I thought the moon didn't spin in its axis... I don't see how we can never see the "dark side of the moon" if the moon spins. Surely the dark side is light when the light side is facing the earth but the dark side is facing the sun (when the 3 bodies are aligned).

The Moon does not spin on its axis.

Because of the gravitational pull of the Earth, and the fact that the mass of the moon is not perfectly uniform, over billions of years the Moon has stopped spinning on it's axis. It does, however, circle the Earth but only one side of it ever faces the earth, for the reason mentioned above.

Because of this a moon "day" is about a two weeks - as is a moon night. However, you will never see the "far side" of the Moon from Earth. The term "dark side" is totally misleading, there is no dark side (outside of Star Wars). The first time humans observed the far side of he Moon was in the 1960's when a few rockets were sent there.
