Well, I guess that's what happens when you

A) Pick players on past reputations rather than form.
B) Kick all your (limited) possession to a team which loves ball in hand
C) Meet the best team around presently.

IMO, the whole thing was doomed when our sole plan is based on picking 2 players because on the way they kick the ball out of hand. Whatever happened to running with the ball and scoring tries ?

Looks like Sir Clive is right to switch to Southampton, they don't do handling either........

Absolutely appalling, wasn't it? Woodworm needs stringing up for turning this into his own personal old giffers reunion tour. Still, it's no great surprise; a lot of people saw this coming unfortunately...

Some nasty injuries as well. Where's Johnno when you need him?! I feared this - BOD isn't a captain, and the obvious hard tackling by the provincial teams was always going to be carried through to the tests - the Lions seem soft and leaderless. There's no way back now, no matter who picks who for the next test.
