Hot melt glue guns.

What a wonderful invention.... I wanted a way to secure my speaker cable into the corner of the wall without cleats and I thought I would try one of these. Brilliant... with one small exception.

If you get the glue on your hand, it burns like napalm..... Not only that, I now know what a bikini wax must feel like after trying to get the infernal stuff out of the hairs on the back of my hands :yikes:

Still, top result, pain is only temporary and chicks dig scars :)

It is a horrendous burn. I don't know about napalm, but I would have compared it to boiling sugar.

Also, it tends to make these fine, cobwebby, glue threads as you move the gun away from wherever you're using it (no matter how you stop pulling the trigger). Can be a nuisance. I've found that you have to be sure to get the right kind of glue for stuff. Some glue is just plastic that will un-stick once solified if used on the wrong materials. Other than that, it does make a solid bond.

Reminds me of when I was doing some welding underneath a car, and a blob of molten underseal fell on the inside of my wrist. Cue hasty exit from beneath car... in the course of which I managed to put the flame of the welding torch through my trousers.

At no point did I say the sensation was enjoyable, merely that I know how it feels!
