They've gone under, what can I do?

I've found out that a company I used to work for has gone under. I need to be able to get a reference froim them as I need a 10 year checkable history as I'm about to become registered with the FSA as a stockbroker.

In the absence of any contact information for my old firm, has anyone got any ideas on how I can get in touch with my old boss (the director), or does anyone in the PH massive know how this will affect me being approved by the FSA?

You should be able to get his details from Companies House if he was a director. I think the info costs £1.
