I don't like getting dragged into online arguments but I've noticed recently that there seem to be a growing number of people on here that seem determined to snipe and bicker with each other, often subsequently ruining others perfectly decent conversations.
I'm all for free speech, healthy disagreement and discussion is good, but there are ways and means of conducting online discussions/relationships and frankly some of this recent behaviour is childish.
Please leave your personal vendettas alone, or find a quiet corner of the web, other than Pistonheads, to vent your diatribe at one another. Its boring and spoiling a great site for the rest of us.

I know there's a lot of people who used to post regularly on PH but don't now. Reason? Stupid comments,personal attacks (easy via a forum isn't it?)and what seems to be an influx of Laxxers who just want to spoil it for everyone else.
PH used to be a good source of informed advice, now it just seems to be an enless stream of 'What car for £xxx?' (on GG) and an endless stream of 'Best/Worst car/film/actor/girlfriend/boyfriend/etc,etc (on P+P)
Even the car realated topics seem to be infected, there is always a 'I'm thinking of buying a Cerbera' type thread running in that forum and gets the same answers each time. For heavens sake use the search facility!

within reason freedom of speech is what forums are all about - if anyone is offended, generally the offendee apologises and we get on with it.

You obviously do not drive a BMW and have to put up with bruciebabie constantly slagging of the marque of car you drive.
I dont really take offence as it not E30's he is having a go at but it does get a little repetative and boring
If you don't like the Pie & Piston - stay in General Gassing. Simple.
The debate there is only about cars and nothing but.
Personally, I think PH has gained far more than it has lost (if anything) by having the Pie & Piston. I wasn't sure about it at first, but I was wrong and have changed my mind. it is the livliest and best informed forum on the web as far as I know.

I dont come to pistonheads to be bored I come here to trade information with like minded enthusiasts and a little humor in P&P
