Yes, but I would be just as happy with a beer and packet of crisps!

I absolutely love champagne, I drink far too much of it really (go out intending to drink beer and end saying WTF only £65 a bottle, may as well ) I really do like the taste but many people I know do not and some even admit to preferring cava...

as for caviar...

tell you what, has anyone ever tried champagne and patum peperium on thin dry toast for breakfast?

breakfast of champions I tell thee

scared but happy

Had an office party a few years back and spent the next 2 hours throwing up in the bog. So no.

Maybe I'm just a chav, but I don't think champers is particularly worth the money. It's pleasant enough for a few glasses, but no real subtlety to it.

Mad dog 20/20 on the other hand.....

I don't, normally. However, I had some with some friends in LeMans city centre and it was dead nice.

Don't know what kind it was but it wasn't cheap. I guess its the same with most products - pay less, enjoy less?

Not really into the fish eggs but Champagne is very nice.

Just in case you didn't know......Veuve Clicquot is currently less that £112 for 6 bottles in Costco !

Champers is nice enough - if chosen well.

Caviar is frankly repulsive and makes me heave.

Strawberries are nice with champers... or so I'm led to believe. But it's all a bit cliched really.

YOu planning something for your laydee, pray tell?

Don't mind champagne but i'd rather have a good sparkling pinot noir at a quarter the cost and just as nice imho. As for sturgeons eggs, the russians can keep them! I am partial to oysters though....

I prefer champagne to anything else. Love the stuff, and usually partake about once a week.

A bit expensive I guess to buy it as a normal everyday drink, but it doesn't stop me. I try and convince myself that it takes less of it to get me merry, so I save that way!

caviar doesn't really rock my world to be honest.

Mmm, bit of beluga on a nice ripe avocado, washed down with some ice cool Bolly, served by a buxom young wench in a bikini. Ne'er a better way to spend a sunny afternoon in the garden.

except for shit loads of nelson and a bbq heaving under the weight of an enormous steak of course

Caviar isn't my bag, but Champagne certainly is. Got a bottle of 1993 Vintage Laurent-Perrier just waiting for me to drink it!

Love Champagne but if you're going to mix it with anything then use Cava. It's a waste of money IMHO.
(Speaking of mixing, try it with Bombay Saphire - Superb)
I'm a Moét man generally though although Canard is really good and cheaper. I've a bottle of Krug stashed for a special occasion.

Spent the first four months of this year in Baku and got a real taste for Caviar (Mainly becuase it was 50p a pint so didn't mind experimenting with the stuff)
Loads of different ways of eating it but my preffered method ended being with Cream /Onion dab and a of Lemon

Big fan of proper champagne, adore Cristal, Grand Dame and La Belle Epoque a lovely velvety biscuityness.

Dont care much for the racing driver £20 a bottle stuff.

Caviar again I like the way the proper stuff explodes just as it hits body temp but the killer there is I dont like salt so cant really stomach more than the tiniest amount.
