Does anyone know where to buy a new high quality metal (something nice, not a cheap plastic) slot machine, preferably one which (being new) takes pound coins etc?

You can buy SPARK PLUGS in some fancy metals too I'm told.

Bob,

Do you want a brand new professional machine? If so, those are expensive.

Or do you want something for home use?

I have some experience of these, as I collect pinball machines, arcade games and the odd juke box.

I also know a few people in the trade, who can do good deals.

Ebay is a good place to look also.

You got it or want it? Quite a desirable game - a good one will cost around 1k.

Bob,

Let me get this right.

You've just bought a swanky new piano.

You now want a fruit machine.

You live in Eastbourne.

You don't by any chance play Johnny Mathis hits to old dears while working on the pier, do you?

If so, I'll have a bag of candy floss and two verses of 'Stone In Love With You'.

“One armed bandit”.

Is it the wine or my perverted mind that makes me snigger at that thread title? Should I seek help?

I did think that Bob was going to treat us to an amusing anecdode about a disabled Mexican who knocked off his local post office.

Obviously the Pier comic doesn't know any jokes like that...

Before posting, ebay turned up not very much at all. Ear n ear ago, when I were a lad, friend o mine ad wona them bandits...

It was small, steel, of a high build quality, normal looking (as they go) and had no undesirable themed artwork. It was just a polished metal 3-dial bandit, lovely steel arm pull with a red knob, with fruits to match and a beautiful scoring table. It was fantastic, we spent hours playing (with his money)

After surfing around and making some phone calls, I found a site and some origional reconditioned machines, but none appealed aesthetically. I cant see myself buying one unless I find the perfect machine. Some of them are a bit pricy too!

Can you email me your contacts details? Just how many machines do you have, or would that be telling? Yes, it would be for home use
