If there is an olympic event for flat, unnegotiable refusal (regardless of whether the instruction is understood) then my 20 month girl will get gold without a doubt.

My oldest (Niclas - aged nearly 6) is just about to start lessons in Gymnastics, as he really likes what he does in school. Is 12 too young for Olympic gymnasts?

Failing that, he's been playing snooker since he was 2 and is almost as good as me!

So what time is he running it in at the moment?

(I had a Commonwealth Games qualifying distance for the javelin at age 17, now, I doubt I could throw it out the door!)

10% I would presume is going to be over a second, which seems a lot in 100m having no idea about the age ranges? If you were 10% off in the adult race you wouldnt be close (though much faster than id ever manage).

Is that running/swimming or when he has your keys Rob?

Yup, he is about a second off at the moment. He only turned fifteen a little while ago and now has to race up to age seventeen. He's won every race so far this year.

He spends all winter crouched over a PC on MSN, then come the spring he just scratches his arse, puts his shorts on and starts running again. This is the first year he has actually trained properly. He is just naturally a fast runner.

I'll find out his times later on if I remember.
