If I were greeting him at Prestwich I couldn't help but snigger.

Tonight he will be dining on British Cuisine - Scottish Salmon and Scottish Lamb - why oh why couldn't we have made him eat roast beef????

I would serve everyone else except him.

Then as he looks round and sees everyone starting to eat, and he only has a placemat in front of him, he will say 'Ou est mon dinner?' And I will reply 'But you don't like English food'.

Or 'Sorry Jacques, but our farmers aren't subsidised'.

I'd just shoot him. Seriously. No-one would miss him. It's not like the French would go to war with us because of it, and if they did then it'd be a laugh for the eleven seconds it would take to beat them.
