Car Guarantee's

Ok So I bought a Car second Hand three months ago. Air-con didn't work so had to take it back and they fixed it. However just before the three months are up the CD player(multi changer) packs up. Turns out the motor in the drive broke. I expected them to fix the unit as the three months aren't up yet however they are wanting me to fork out for the repair. As I understood it they have to fix faults whatever they are within the 3 month warranty. Righ or wrong???

If you got it from a main dealer, possibly. But bolt-on warranties from indys are pretty basic. Check the small print!

Phone up your local office supplier and get the cost of a ream of paper. Work out the cost of a single sheet and then divide by two - thats the value of a used car guarantee.

Seriously, it is unlikely that the warranty would cover stereo equipment.
