No but i nearly wet myself laughing one night when a female friend on mines new boyfriend popped up on screen for doing over post offices. She'd spent the previous few weeks boring everyone stupid about what a great guy he was and treated her like a princess, strange really he disappeared to a small room with a very high window the next day.

Maybe one day we'll just have a Crime Channel and just a few police to arrest the miscreants?
Re the other matter, yes, the State got £200 extra revenue but made an enemy for life. At least you understand Oli. Police lurkers, read and learn.

Most definitely indeed.
BUT, if large numbers of the population are being rubbed up the wrong way by the police for doing 32 in a 30 zone and driving in bus lanes, this goodwill evaporates very briskly.
Without sounding too dark and dangerous, they are digging a hole for themselves that may take a very long time to get out of.
Simpo Two - I understand completely. Thankfully, I have yet to be had for such a trivial infracation of the law, but it will only be a matter of time. (And as it is, I have been on the wrong end of Police stupidity enough times for me to have a low opinion of them anyway ... )

I phoned them up about three years ago when the brother of the nastiest casino punter you've ever had the misfortune to deal to was featured on their wanted gallery... He was arrested the same evening apparently!
