MG Rover Deal

Seems to be good news-producing the viable MG Rover cars at Longbridge

So MGR goes down, in part due to placing all their eggs into the SAIC basket and chasing the joint venture.
SAIC pull out, MGR into administration, and now they get to pick up the company for what, 10p in the pound compared to the original deal?
Did anyone else not think this was going to happen all along?

Got caught in this in 1995 with a company waiting for th cash to pay for what they had constructed. Still they then had to pay a whole lot more to the engineers who bought the metalwork as scrap but were also the only people who could put together in the required manner for the chinese!!!!!!!!!!!
