Anything to worry about?

I have my mobile set to divert all calls to my voicemail at the moment, and I keep getting missed call texts for numbers that I don't recognise. When I try to call them back I just get one long tone for a dead line.

Anyone here come across this?

What are the numbers? Mobile, landline, international?

All landline, from various northern places.

I know Sky TV's call centre is located in Scotland and they are particularly annoying.

I've had that on my home number a few times, they look like landline numbers but when you call them it sounds like a disconnect. I suspect it's telesales as a lot of the numbers they use don't allow a callback. If they ever ring when I'm home I shall ask them how they got my number as I'm ex-directory and registered with the TPS.

Seems likely that someone from a call centre is trying to get in touch, and the number(s) popping up on your phone aren't the real originating number(s)
