heres the thing for me, whilst i recognise that both myself and my 'associates' (i prefer 'friends') are guilty of a lot of banditry, i genuinely believe that we have never hijacked a thread that wasn't already frivolous in nature, or hadn't already answered the question it set out to answer. blimey, even i wouldn't post the word 'willy' on a thread where someone was asking for advice on a serious matter. well, not often anyway.

and never once has a thread originator said 'listen boys, i just wanted advice on me arse grapes and you're spoiling it for me'. this must mean something, mustn't it?

whilst i recognize it is absolutely not my place to make suggestions, it seems to me that 'advising caution on frivolity' based on a few complaints seems a little one sided. I'm guessing that people don't often mail Ted or the mods to say 'its good fun here today'. so how about a vote for who says we keep the p and p 'clean' and a vote for who says that 'limited banditry' can be tolerated?

id really like to stay, but not if its causing aggravation and upset to anyone. emmap, my apologies to you and nubbin if ive annoyed or upset you.
