What is it with wildlife and hot sunny days? Normally razor sharp reflexes become something akin to my 95 year old grandad's as they similarly fail to get off their arses in time to avoid unfortunate incidents!

In the last week I've hit, (and I apologise most humbly - I know I'm going to hell), 2 crows and 2 pigeons. One of the crows was a particularly impressive atomisation, pigeons tend to be more like snowball type cloudbursts.

Do I need to fit a suitable warning device to my car?

Interesting look on a Lotus! I may consider it though!

Install it downwards though, as when your at the roadside, other drivers passing may throw coins into it, thinking your a toll booth

Had to chuck the anchor out the back last night to miss bagging a badger! He certainly wasn't as fleet of foot as they normally are!

That would have hurt. Dad bent a chassis rail on one of those once. It was a BM as well so can't be put down to funny Russian steal or anything!

In Christ knows how many 100k miles of driving I have never once managed this feat. They must be a particularly stupid bread in your neck of the woods! They are usually the first to dive for cover. Bunnies on the other hand...

I put one into a flat spin with a glance following avoiding action. The other hit the centre of the grill absolutely flush. Not a nice clean up operation. Pigeons have all gone a bit Kamikaze of late.

Then to, although it's the bunny I slammed on the anchors for down my lane the other night, and who then ran towards my car and under the wheels that stunned me. Talk about Darwinism

It's like those classic car insurance claim quotes, "I had to swerve several times before I managed to hit the object"

I brake for animals, but nothing less than a deer will see me choose the landscape over the unfortunate culling!

Just got back from Coventry, picking up todays mail. As I was dropping the trailer on the bay, I noticed a nice big lump of snotty meat dangling off the trailer legs I've absolutely no idea what it was. I didn't see/feel a thing.
