Guinea pig looked bored and kept weeping at me whenever i walked past, so i got him out he sat on my chest while i was on the computer eating some lettuce leaf.

Not content with eating the lettuce, he then went on to tear one of my shirt buttons off :yikes:

While I was locating the lost button, he then started to eat my bedclothes while weeping merrily.

He is now back in his cage :grumpy:

You do paint a picture Gh0st. A man standing on his computer eating lettuce with a hamster hanging off his shirt listening to chavs shouting at each other.

It rivals the Mornington Crescent thread for surreality. Positively Kafkaesque.

Presumably if he is reading he won;t be able to concentrate on eating Gh0st. Good Plan. I'd try him on the phonics system. Apparently it's very good for those with under developed reading skills (not that I am implying anything abouth the IQ of the hamster).

Edit: Sorry, just noticed it's a Guinea Pig not a Hamster so this is clearly a stupid idea as they are South American. (I think)

Get him sorted with a log-in name and put him on the keyboard.

The Guinea Pig song from the Crazy World Of Joe Pasquale & also
performed on Joe's An Audience With!

So when he smiles, he's just a grinny pig,
And when he drives, then he's a mini pig,
And when he smokes, he's a naughty nicotiny pig, nicotiny pig,
that's that guinea pig of ours.

When he says don't, he's strict discipliny pig,
And when he eats Chinese, these he's a mandariny pig,
When he plays strings, then he's a Russian violiny pig, violiny pig,
that's that guinea pig of ours.

And when he throws, then he's a jolly javeliny pig,
Then he gets on his toes, and does his watch me spin-ney pig,
And when he slows, he's been a one too many guinea pig,
that guzzling guinea pig of ours.

And when he slims, he becomes quite a skinny pig,
Instead of sugar in his tea, he would rather sacchariny pig,
Then he bakes a chocolate cake, puts on a very pretty pinny pig, pretty
pinny pig,
that's that guinea pig of ours.

When he goes out, he's not an in-ny pig,
When he turns over a new leaf, then he's a new beginney pig,
And when he dies, he'll be a has Beeny pig, I will put him in the binny pig,

with flowers,

And say farewell, to that old...
grinny, violiny, in a mini, nicotiny, javaliny, skinny guinea pig, of ours.

Put in an oven bag, in a cooking trough and wrap in foil. Place over a V8 engine manifold for around 5 hours, serve and eat

Why are they called Guinea Pigs anyway? Theyaren't from Guinea and they aren't pigs.

We had a Guinea Pig once. They are pretty boring animals. He was so boring we never got around to giving him a name except for "GP". The most exciting moment he provided us was the day he died.

first thing I found on google said:

...so called either because it was first brought back to Britain aboard Guinea-men, ships that plied the triangle trade between England, Guinea, and South America; or from confusion of Guinea (q.v.) with the South American region of Guyana. In the extended sense of "one subjected to an experiment" it is first recorded 1920, because they were commonly used in vivisection experiments.

'pparently... Doesn't really explain the 'pig' bit very well though.

Apple sauce with a guinea pig, are you mad? Guinea pig deserves something far more piquante I would have gone for a nice honey and mustard dressing personally.

Don't ask me why I tried but this is genuinely what you get from google if you do an image search on 'dangling participles'

I now have half a pint of Marstons Pedigree to wipe off my desk, keyboard, monitor, report for a meeting tomorrow (bum).
