Chav kids - yell at them or parent?

Chav kids next door are round at their dads. They're abot 4 and 6 now. They have no respect for other people's property and run everywhere, even after I bang on my window when they run across our lawn.

They now have some bow and arrow thing out firing various things around the street. Now if something was to hit my car I'd be more than a little angry to say the least but should I tell at the kids or their dad? (who by the way happily watches them run over people's stuff)

If they are anything like my neighbours then the parents are worse than the children, after I complained to my neighbour about her son, urinating in my flower beds, she proceeded to call my daughter a white nigger and a sl@g. Delightful

Although my neighbors are not as bad as Wedge Girls, they still show their kids no sense of respecting other peoples peace and quiet or property.

May be no point in complaining to the parents - the kids get it from somewhere

Scum bag parents breed scum bag kids. I'd say something to the parents if it gets out of hand. The little chavs are more likely to do something to you, your car or home if you go at them directly.

hum, think I'd go to the dad. Explain politely in an adult way that unless he teaches his kids some respect they're going to grow up to me w*nkers. If he doesn't take my polite angle then maybe I just tell him that it's obviously his obnoxious attitude and lack of respect that made his wife leave him. Then agan maybe thats a bit below the belt unless they really hurt Fifi!

I wouldnt bother with them at all, you just become a target, ignore 'em. They are worthless scum, so not worth the hassle.

I Guess ime lucky,i have great neighbours,they even love the sound of a sports exhaust on a 7litre V8 and two of them are ladies in their 60's.

Talking to them is unlikely to be effective unless it is extremely slow and monosyllabic. It's the old problem 'five minutes talking to a Chav and you find yourself talking like a chav'.

We used to have nice neighbours. Used to have street parties and the lot. Then the nice ones moved out and Chavs moved in, now there's just fights if they don't get invited to parties!!!

I have a proper archery kit.
I also have a similar problem which I was going to post a thread about.

I have been very, very tempted to set up and scare the crap out of them, especially when they have woken 8 month daughter.
But as has been said it would probably just make us more of a target, and at £15 per arrow they just ain't worth it.
