Reminds me of a trainee we took on a couple of years ago.
He came out on a valuation with me, halfway through my presentation, the subject turns to a gazumping experience the client had been on the recieving end of.
Johnny boy pipes up...
'Yeah, its enough to screw your mind innit, like thinking of your mum with the milkman'
Or the time an old biddy came in the office, enquiring about the bungalow in the window. Johnny boy quipped...
'Nah luv, its not a whole one. We tried and tried to get a bungalow in our window, but it just wouldn't fit, so we made do with a picture'

I often have thought that an estate agent could win a large and popular following with honest and straight forward advertising...I wince sometimes when I see the drivel that my lot come out with

I often have thought that an estate agent could win a large and popular following with honest and straight forward advertising...I wince sometimes when I see the drivel that my lot come out with
'Deceptively Spacious' so its big and looks tiny? or does it looks big but is actually small? shut it
'Full of character' Full of woodworm
'Quaint' Only held up by the tree roots growing through the foundations
'Be sure to arrange a viewing as soon as possible' The vendors giving me hassle cos no buggers looked at it yet
'Recent Price reduction' They're really getting desperate, come and take the piss with a low offer
'Close to transport links' End of Runway 2
'All appliances are untested by the Agent' We're not going to tell you the electric only works on thursdays
