That stupid A class Merc with the stupid muppet fog lights which illuminated on one side whenever he turned the wheel. Or was it only in conjunction with indicators, have to watch the repeat to make sure.

Didn't look very legal to me, but almost certainly hidden in some EU constr & use regs.

Secondly noticed the Astra VRX had satnav.

More and more vehicles are getting fitted with basic satnav as standard, eg New Zafira and New Vectra just two offerings from GM.

Is this in preparation for big brother black box control?

Liked the M5 a lot.I like its looks too.
Personally, i like fiddling with gadgets so having all these adjustable settings for everything in the M5 gets a big thumbs up from me!

I felt a bit uncomfortable watching James May slag off peoples cars when driving them home.He would've found retrieving his bike jammed right up his arse quite difficult if it'd been my car.

Good seeing Chris Evans back.

I wish May had picked up some vomit-hurling rich boys, though. Took a real disliking to him being a tt in other people's cars, something awkward and humiliating would've sorted him out.

Rest of the program was solid, but not exceptional. Chris Evans was surprisingly good - either that or my expectations for Top Gear guests has plummeted. Sick of Clarkson slagging off BMW styling - everyone's learned to put up or shut up, wish he would.

Best part was my mum walking in when they did the car-flipping. I convinced her it was one of their guest drivers in the car.

Really...? Looked suspiciously like the Trough of Bowland to me (10 minutes from my house conveniently ) TG have taken a few cars through there.

How James May didn't slap that woman in the A3 I'll never know. She had me wound up in 5 seconds flat trying to justify her poverty spec car. FFS, talk about on the make...! It's a boggo A3, nothing wrong with that, just don't try and make out it's some super-duper version. "Yes, but it's the FSI Sport". So...? It's still 3 up from bog standard in a range of eleventy million. "I wouldn't have the SE". FFS..

Not a bad program for a change. Had more content and less time filling photography (prepare for comments). The M5 was also very good. JC likes the focus and to be honest I think that stying went out of date very quickly so why dislike the M5 style?

Thought tonight's was about the weakest Top Gear I can remember...

Clarkson is clearly too old for the new M5.
