New planet discovered (but rubbish name)

Tenth planet discovered, 3000km in diameter and three times further than pluto. Well done astronomers! However, I sincerely hope they give it a better name than "2003 UB313".

Nobody's going to remember some sort of catalog number. Maybe they'll have a contest.

I think it should be called Urwilly (close to Uranus)! Imagine all the jokes it could generate in this day and age of terrorism, global warming, etc. It would be a public service to name it as such!

Yeah, but look at this diagram (from the BBC site)



If the Solar System was a party then the first 9 planets would be boogying down on the dance floor whilst this new 10th planet is the wall-flower hanging around in the far corner nervously drinking its drink and moving slightly in time with the music in that kind of "not quite dancing but not quite stationary" way that some people do.

So in other words, is this thing really worth including in the Solar System?
