Had a guy round last week to sort a drainage problem at home and got chatting about cars, turns out well as being a 'jack of all trades' he also restores Jags!

We were trying to get a manhole open on the drive and I went into the garage to get a pry bar, up goes the door and of course the Mexico was inside. geezer pipes up ' Wow, I've got a BRAND NEW AND GENUINE FORD FRONT PANEL AND RADIATOR CROSSMEMBER at home I need to get rid of!

Unbeknown to him as the car was facing towards the back wall as some of you know a kind chap shortened it for me in January :hehe:

So trying to keep a straight face I mentioned I might be interested in the panels and he replyed that he bought them new in 1970 as he had a Mex then and envisagened he might need them one day in true RWD fashion!

Guess what - bought the pair for........

Now what would that make on Ebay??!!!!

The off side inner wing, this is on order, only three months to wait now and £370 for the privelidge when it arrives!
