Today on M5 jct 10, cars all breaking sharply in front, brake hard and come to standstill. Look in mirror car behind approaching fast, start to worry then just as it looks like he's stopped...BANG! Bloke behind him in Freelander didn't see we'd stopped! Five cars in total, Audi behind me smashed front end in with radiator leaking all over road. Luckily just my front and rear bumpers are knackered. My lower back is a bit stiff now though, weird thing is when I got back in car my seat was reclined about halfway, don't know if this is a safety feature?
I've had that after leaving a job interview - in my Berlingo, had a Fiesta wack the back of me... i looked around to see what that distant bang was... and there was a girl next to me very upset saying 'sorrrrrry!!!'
had a look... bit of her paint on the bumper but nowt else, her front wing was totaled tho.

I had a car hit the back of my motor some years ago, idiot was doing 60mph. At the time I jumped out the car, to get his details.
However it wasn't until a nights sleep, when I went to get up I couldnt move my neck it was that stiff. Turns out it was whiplash, & had to go for physio etc..
It is quite common not to feel anything straight after, the doctor said its not till the next day the aches can start
