When I was younger, we listened to Radio WM from time to time and I remember listening to a phone in with a particularly stupid woman who couldn't work out the answer to a quiz question, despite some of the most extensive help from the quiz master (Ed Doolan if I remember rightly)..

in fact...was it his who had the battle of the sexes quiz, and they asked the girls how often do they change the batteries in the cats eyes, and they were trying to figure it out for a good 10 minutes!
