I was having this (enlightening) discussion with my kids yesterday. For me, it's the sight, sound and smell of other people's vomit! Secondly, I am a little prone to sea sickness. A few years ago, both of the above came together in an unfortunate union:

I was travelling on a ferry to Ireland, when the sea suddenly got really choppy and the boat was bobbing around like a cork at Niagara. After a few minutes I noticed a "wafting" unpleasant odour. I then realised it was the smell of other passengers being sick - which made me feel ill. I noticed people were lying down on the seats to reduce the effect of the sea sickness and I wanted to do likewise. The only problem was, all of the seats were occupied. Eventually, I saw a row of three seats which could act as a makeshift bed. I quickly lied down but after a few seconds I felt a warm and wet sensation on the side of my head. It tranpired that I'd placed my head in a pool of yellow and orange vomit. I ran to the washroom, where I washed my hair with water, while simultaneously throwing up into the basin.

From then on I decided it was probably wiser to fly to Ireland rather than sail!

The smell of vomit doesnt make me sick but sticking my head in a pool of someone elses probably would. Yuck.

Last time I threw up a Mr. J Daniels from Tennessee USA was to blame.

The thought of "doing it" with Cherie Blair.

I hate TB but he deserves a medal for having the courage to knock her up 3 times (the fourth one is Mandelsons so I hear, so she probably deserves a medal too!)

The smell of cooking liver, or cooking hare - odd really, other people seem to love it.

People puking up can trigger me off. We once played a drinking game around a big table in a pub. All 8 of us were leathered. Somebody chucked and it triggered 3 or 4 others off too.

It was like dominos falling except with vom.

People eating bogeys does me too. Stringy ones have the quickest effect.

Other people being sick. Sometimes in the morning I will wretch really easily, but am never sick - brushing my very back teeth does it fairly regularly.
