Looking at the traffic cams, its incredible to see there are still cars on the freeways

Ships and boats will have gone out to sea where they can out-maneuver the storm. Leave them docked and they're lost for sure.

Most seem to be off line now, one had some real big raindrops on it.

Check the Baton Rouge cams - not quite as close, but it shows enough

There was big Hurricane when I was working offshore Bombay. We tried to get to Bombay harbour, as it is probaboly the best sheltered harbour for a thousand miles, but the buggers closed it. We had to try to outrun it at our top speed of 7 knots! Thousands of Indian Fisherman died that year cos of that storm! Was a sight to see. The winds were something to behold!

Just had another look ... pictures were from Saturday hence the sun!

Can't get any of the cams to work now ... hope everyone there is ok!
