Anyone else watch this the other night and was totally disgusted with it.

Its about couples and the wife secretly gets dog training lessions which she uses to change the way her other half behaves.

They are adtertising for couples

Stupid, banal rubbish. Easy to shrug this kind of thing off as harmless but if it becomes the 'norm' then over time IMHO it has a similar effect to advertising.

Learned my lesson about this when I didn't . . . and had to fish a toddler out who got her bum stuck and wasn't very happy as a result

Ordinarily I would balk at the concept of being 'brought to heel'.

However, if the trainer looked like this.....

I didn't watch this, but I did read a page in the Daily Mail earlier this week which showed a picture of a smartly dressed young lady holding a lead which was attached to a man on all fours. It was spouting some cr*p about applying dog training techniques to men who refused to do as they're told, etc.

I was totally disgusted by this article.

I always put the entire seat and lid down after use, I dont understand why you'd want to leave it any other way.

Never understood the whole toilet seat thing. If you need it down, put it down. If you need it up, put it up. It takes all of 2 seconds.

That program was utter garbage though.

I'm glad to hear you thought that Roz and I completely agree. I nearly started a thread on PH when I saw it but got sidetracked. It was actually worse than the old black and white 'how to be a good wife' drivel. Using a dog trainer to secretly try and alter a man's behaviour is appalling - doing the same to a woman would (quite rightly) *never* have made it onto TV.

I just wish we could get equality instead of changing which group is persecuted.

Yeah but they'll show anothert fifty episodes if they get the chance. I'm sure it will boost ratings.

If we get any more shit like this I'm going to burn my underpants.

So they said "we're sorry, it didnt occur to us that this would cause offence in any way at all honest..."

The important question is could they find someone able to say that with a straight face
