Always thought Ken is a brilliant MP, but his views on Europe have always put me off i'm afraid.

Too little too late! Nobody listens (cares) anymore. Trouble is the Tories sided with the Govenment at the time and a backtrack now seems like, as Blair puts it 'political point scoreing' and 'we need time for reflection'. Plus I think as a vote grabber and as shown by the last election Iraq is a very low item on peoples list of box ticking (sorry about that cringe bit).
I found that time after time I would be screaming at the telly as they cannot/will not come back or bite for Labours spoutings.
I think it does not matter who they have as long as intrest rates are low people will not vote for the Tories anyhow I still hear the Thatcher arguement mentioned!! Amazing.

"...Mr Clarke also warned against "instant legislation" after terrorist attacks.

"There is no evidence that any bomb has gone off because of any gap in the law," he said
..."

Well said, let's have more comments against the incessant emotional knee-jerk Labour policies.
