Once made the mistake of walking through Pasadena, Cal with a t shirt with in large letter "I love the broads" written across it.

Wondered why I got so many funny looks and people in shops gigling at me.

We had a local Firkins brew pub at one time which made a beer called Pecker. A visiting American academic left with a T-Shirt with "Get Your Mouth Round Our Firkin Perker" on it - I woder if he was ever brave enough to wear it?

Lucky you didn't have a t-shirt that displayed "I'm dying for a fag"
