- See the favourite sweets thread. Since my 3 year old has discovered Fry's Turkish Delight I can't get him to eat American Chocolate.

- Lots of cars (even though not owned by UK companies)

- Whisky!

- Beer!

- Some of the best bespoke clothing in the world

...and this is just a small list. I'm sure I could think of more.

Think you need to think a bit harder then John

For cars:
Aston-Martin
Atom
Bentley
Caterham
Ford
Honda
Jaguar
Land Rover
Mclaren
Morgan
Nissan
Peugeot
Radical
Rolls-Royce
Toyota
Vauxhall
Westfield

All I can think of off the top of my head.

Good point!

I probably forgot 'cause I was thinking of companies that show we can still produce a quality product.

Er, flame-proof coat? Yes that'll be mine, thank you.

Isn't the UK still the world leader in bespoke chassis and body work for open wheel racing around the world? IIRC, both CART and Indy Racing use UK facilities for that. Not so sure about F1...

PS: Not to mention the scientific brains behind these endeavors
