If its possible I'd just like to ask you all to keep my cousins Lisa (17) and Lee (11) in your thoughts.

Its a year ago today that their Mam , my Auntie died suddenly of a brain haemorrage, she was 39. Its been a hard year and they are just about coping.

So if you dont mind just keep them in your thoughts.

Many Thanks

Stacey

Sorry to hear that (I lost an aunt at about the same age with the same problem).

Hope they have the strength to see it through and cope with the new reality without it sending them off the rails.

My wife's sister lost her husband about 9 months ago. Unfortunately, that left them without a bread winner and a father to her twins. However, that said, he lost a battle with cancer which lasted just over 24 months and saw him degenerate, eventually dying at home. A depressing time for all....

But, they have managed to rebuild their shattered lives. Now they can start living again and working forward to the future - having their lives put on hold for so long was a nightmare. The twins (12 years old) have rebounded well and looking forward now. It is truly amazing to see how well and quickly that children can deal with such world-shattering event.

So, my thoughts and hopes are with all affected - but its positive, things will get better and amazingly fast......

I thought warm fuzzies were a thing of the past. You couldn't be a glamour model in the 70's without a good warm fuzzy, preferably one that looked like a fur trappers hat.

However in this day and age, the thong and g-string fashions have put paid to warm fuzzies. Brazilians are the in thing and fuzzies have been plucked and waxed almost to extinction.

As far as I am aware the only people who now have warm fuzzies are lesbians, Inuit women and Wigan housewives

Although I may well be wrong
