You can see Mitch Benn live in Camden for just a tenner this Saturday (see Monkey Business in Jamestown Road) plus Will Smith (no, the other one...)

As long as an artiste/band can perform live, I've no problem with them. The manufactured boy/girl bands, etc, that require lip-sync... they are the ones that deserved the bad press, not good bands that happen to be popular!

agreed. i'm sure people were moaning that everything sounds like glam-rock or prog-rock in the 70s.

actually, i miss those minute long guitar solos.

all a bit before my time, but certainly makes a song more interesting. hardly hear decent solos these days.

Why do they insist on playing Cold Play's latest song
'Fix you up' on 33rpm when it's obvious that it should be played at 45rpm ?.
Maybe they're hoping it'll be a hit at funerals
