Ferguson,he would get the job done and take no sh*t,i also think he's overstayed his welcome at United.

Anyone but Sven

Either

Sam Allerdice from Bolton he'd have the balls to drop players like Beckham when they are not on form.

or Stuart Pearce - as you say his passion would be like a 12th man

Not a Swede and his best mate on £4.5m per year. England Managers should do it for free

If we don't win the world cup, give him the job he will have had two seasons in the premiership by then, and if you don't play well for him you can expect to be wearing crockery
I must go and practise singing Jerusalem for the cricket in the morning. At least we are still the best in the world at something..

I think fergie would be a good choice for giving them a good whack but whether he would have the motivation to do the job is a different matter. I think once he's gone from man u he's gone

Ferguson,he would get the job done and take no sh*t,i also think he's overstayed his welcome at United.

"I shall not cease from mental fight, nor shall thy sword sleep in my hand" ,should be our National Anthem.

My national anthem would be "rule Brittannia" my ring tone, it didn't go down to well in Spain though(something to do with an old guy playing bowls sinking all thier ships(1588)).
You can have ferguson after the world cup, the only way we are ever going to get beckham back is if fergie leaves.

Sven.

first defeat in a qualifier since he has taken over so things arent as bad as they might appear. whilst the tactics are suspect and it is clear that he is adjusting the formation to involve his favourite players, and, even despite last nights mind baffling substitutions, I would still say that there is no one better than Sven. I dont think Pearce has the tactical knowledge yet and I dont think he has proved himself at Man City for long enough to be given the job.

Why Hargreaves is in the England Squad baffles me, why Lampard was substituted for Hargreaves is even harder to comprehend. Sven simply needs to recognise the fact that he cannot play Beckham, Lampard and Gerrard in the same squad and have players fully aware of their role.

AS Ian Wright said after the game, English players just need it drilled into them that last night was hte world cup final as far as NI were concerned. Teams WANT to beat England regardless of the competition, eg Denmark last month. We must go into games with the attitude that failure is not an option. England had a swagger last night that was there on Saturday too. Like they expected to win and scoring goals was just a matter of time.

Hire a Brazilian or German, while we are at it we could abduct the entire team and have a real chance.

Why is it that English teams are usually so shockingly bad at football? Cant we get a few of those super fit SAS blokes and have them trained to play football?

Incidentally if the job’s up for 4.5 million I have no experience but I cant possibly do much worse then the current manager really .
