Or indeed Nuerburgring!

I want to go for a quasi 'stag' do next summer. My chief usher has been charged with the task of sorting it out. first he got through to 'a crazy german answering machine' and now he has had this imprecise email response:

"I’m sorry, but all the date for this year are full, but
at the beginning of December You can buy new tickets.

We'll send you an email, when sales begins. Then You can order Your individual ticket on the

Website. http://ring-taxi.bmw-motorsport.com/ring-taxi/en/index.html .

You will receive Your ticket by mail, after 175,- € are transferred to the BMW Ring-Taxi account.

When You have received Your ticket, co-ordinating process of Your individual schedule BMW Ring-Taxi lap will be started. BMW Ring-Taxi service will be served only at selected weekends and weekdays.

The BMW Ring-Taxi Web-Site will be soon adapted into English Language and will give You all relevant information.

Best regards from Nürburgring,"

I am guessing some of you have experience of this..

We're assuming they mean that we can get tickets for next summer (2006) in December (2005)... we thought we'd done the right thing sorting it this early - we really don't want to miss the boaten...

Ah, you want a drive with Sabine then.

It looks like they're fully booked for this year. However, you can start booking tickets for the 2006 season from December 2005 on. So, mark this in your calendar.

Sounds very much like they are referring to booking the Ring-Taxi (M5 hot lap) which is booking now for next year (not surprising, does get booked well in advance) rather than the actual circuit opening times.

to see when the public days are, check www.nurburgring.org Ben Lovejoys excellent site.
