This country is getting more and more bizarre. Just spotted this...

OK, nothing unusual about the boys coming to pick some money up. But what about the van behind?

Another van, video-ing the first van and the surrounding area.

So they've come to collect a bit of cash. Its taken 3 blokes, two Merc vans and some expensive surveilance equipment.

Sad country.

I used to live in the west of Ireland and whenever they used to deliver/collect substantial sums of money it was like a full scale military operation with armed soldiers and lots of green land rovers.

Edit: P.S. is that a truck pulling a trailer with a giant set of wheels in the background? I wonder if it improved handling…

Oh I know this one... .... are they a four part harmony band? No, no, wait - that wasn't my answer.... they're characters from kids-TV aren't they?... oh, I don't know. You're going to have to tell me.

The security van putting money in the cashpoint outside my local Co-op was robbed recently.

I say snipers on the roofs taking down the Chav's is the only answer.

Its called C.I.T or cash in transit and its one of the weakest link in the cash chain.
The wages are very low and the turn over of staff is unbelievable.
You don`t go back for more when some nutter in a balaclava with a machete threatens to chop your leg off, and they would.

Those vans surely will be seen miles away. They cause too much attention, why not lose the huge commercial type "stickers" anyways.

Yep, I used to do CIT for Group 4 (way back when). £2.12 an hour for the dubious potential privilege of having a sawnoff shoved up your nose... and of having to pee in a plastic bag.
As the guy in the back of the van, the drill was that if someone threatened your mate outside, you shoved the cash out PDQ. I always wondered what would happen if I DIDN'T shove it out? Stalemate. Robber shoots my mate, he doesn't get the cash. Robber doesn't shoot, he STILL doesn't get the cash.... though I suspected I'd have a shorter list of mates afterwards

Shooting people for wearing Burberry and sportswear is a bit extreme isn't it?

Well, I thought a chav was someone who has no taste and wears flashy designer stuff and sportswear.
