Apart from elbow grease, what's the best way to get rid of doggy smells. It isn't that bad at all really, and probably only noticeable to me, but is there a product that can eliminate the smell for good?

[small]Apart from getting a dog.

Mask it with a stronger more pungent smell like 'Old Spice' or 'Charlie'.

and if you have the age old problem of dog hair stuck in the carpit then just get a new stanley knife blabe and by holding on the edge(blunt side up)drag it flat sideways pushing down over the capit and it pulls all the hairs together so you just hover up a big fur ball.and get a roof box next time its alot cleaner.

'Charlie' - is that another "Vixpy Mint" product?

Vaguely recall reading something once about sprinkling bicarb of soda all over the upholstery, leaving for a bit, and then vacuuming off. Supposed to remove smells, but have never tried so no guarantees

Hideously unpleasantly sickly sweet smelling perfume.

I think the "Charlie" from the VixpyMint would probably have more of a Musky pheromone smell to it

I noticed that we get tomcat smells in our cars occasionally. This mystified me as we don't ride around with tomcats in them (our mog had his off years back and we don't take him for rides either). I then caught the local boss tom spraying the wheels on my wife's car - and a little tomcat goes a long way.

I'll have to try "Charlie" on him - not the car!
