Very articulate and mostly hits the nerve, although I don't agree with all of it!
However my take on the Katrina tragedy is that although there was enough warning the population (no matter whether rich/poor black or white) was too damned lazy to do anything about it. and that applies to the population and the local government! If the forecasts (as we heard them) were making such prognoses, they should have got their lazy fat arses into gear two days earlier and if necessary walked out!!!!And why wasn't the National Guard in Louisiana put on alert 2 days before the hurricane struck when they knew it'd be a bad one???? But the average fatty slob american no longer knows how to walk........ did you see the complaining fat barstewards who said that they'd had to walk two miles FFS!!!!! If your life is in danger you walk twenty or thirty.........or more...
