At 2pm on a Sunday afternoon...

What kind of songs would you wanna hear playing on the stereo?

(Assuming that you have to be listening to something).

At 2pm?

I'm thinking along the lines of something quite a bit more commercial!

Is this a trick question

Who was it that done 'I've got a brand new combine harvester' bit before my time really. The Wurzels or something like that.

In a country pub at 2:00 pm on a Sunday afternoon?

If it’s summer I want to be outside and hear the noise of birds singing, the breeze in the leaves of the trees and the distant sound of children playing.

If it’s winter I want to hear the ticking of a clock, the sound of an open fire and the dull murmur of conversation going on around the place.

Country pubs and Sunday afternoons are not for music – bah humbug!

OK, at a push, maybe some live Jazz

I'd be going straight past the pub.... and the only music would be a V8 on the over-run

A national anthem of some description.

Come on..... the 6-nations always seems so far away.
