So I have to move from my quiet corner where I can think to sit with inane chatting lentilists.

we're moving into administrative teams. which is great except it means i couldn't be any further from my project team if i tried.

and we're in teams without our managers - our managers will all be sitting together.

funnily enough they will all be where i am now - with the best views. I smell a rat.

Heavy issue I know.

Put a couple of Tuna sandwiches behind the radiators before you move.

They will soon suggest that it was a bad idea and move back.

Well i think the lack of concern for my plight is a reflection of the selfishness inflicting society today.

Mrs Trackside to the rescue!

seriously - someone was just talking about getting an electric car and another guy who's supposed to be an economists reckons all the oil issues are to do with the chinese all wanting cars - oh so it's nothing to do with the general growth of manufacturing in china. what do people think plastic is manufactured from...?

boo. hiss.

Look at it in a positive light.

1) No manager looking over your shoulder.
2) Think of all the fun you can have winding these lentilists up

But I do sympathise with your plight, having been the victim of a similar office move in the past. If you've already got a lovely quiet corner with nice window views, it can make all the difference to your working day.

Clearly your managers have sussed this and want it for themselves. There's no other reason, and if they say otherwise, it's bull

You should see this as a challenge. You now have a captive audience of lentilists, who you can gradually wear down with tales of joyous oversteer and high speeds.

Your mission is to convert them to petrol oil-wasting speed freaks.

Go get em!

And... you could always buy a t-shirt like the one below and wear it to the office.

I'm sure you'd be the talk of the office, and just think how much fun you could have with that!

Who needs windows, really, eh? you just need to use your imagination in a different way.

i am not sure it's my colour!

it might be good actually. i don't know how many times i have said if it weren't for the pleasant location i'd go and do a proper job...

all of a sudden the idea of working in a wernham hogg style office on a boring 'business park' isn't so bad!
